Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $2140 - $2290 ICU Nursing Job Details Location : Sioux Falls, South Dakota (57105) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nurse contract (November 17, 2025 - February 16, 2026) Healthcare Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Central Resource Pool Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (Cluster C), every other weekend and holiday Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs Charting System : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in South Dakota or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or progressive care nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Clinical proficiency in Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, oxygen titration, moderate sedation, telemetry, and medical-surgical patient care Experience with Epic documentation, Alaris pumps, and Acudose preferred Ability to float to Med-Surg units as needed ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a 30-bed medical-surgical and 8-bed progressive care unit Manage patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, COVID-19, pulmonary embolism, and post-operative cases Provide care involving mechanical and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, IV medications, moderate sedation, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and cardiac monitoring Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and physical therapists Advocate for patient safety and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives Engage in unit-specific and hospital-wide committees and professional development opportunities Complete required orientation and competency validations upon arrival Apply now to join our healthcare team in Sioux Falls and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
