Senior Director, Sales – Dickies National Accounts

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Lead a network of Sales Managers to accomplish brand strategies while delivering financial goals
  • Manage diverse account base, including mass retail, with annualized revenue targets of $100m-$150m
  • Execute against brand initiatives, including growth of pre-season order book, placement of seasonal programs targeting share growth across key categories
  • Lead creation and execution against pre-season and in-season revenue forecasts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans while gaining cross-functional alignment to achieve goals
  • Partner with MCO organization to continuously drive operational improvements
  • Develop talent pipeline within the sales organization through consistent coaching and development
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with top retail accounts
  • Actively participate in GTM planning to develop comprehensive seasonal business plans
  • Lead frequent top to top executive meetings with retail partners
  • Regularly communicate POS and marketplace trends through monthly business reviews and GTM
  • Consistently deliver strategies focused on elevated distribution for The Dickies brand
  • Partner with Direct-to-Consumer peers to create unified marketplace strategies
  • Work Sales Strategy, Total Revenue, Market Penetration / account growth, account relationships, forecast accuracy, team development
  • Commercial teams, Supply Planning & Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Product, Dickies Leadership Team, Retail Account Leadership

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience : 10+ years of experience in wholesale sales with P+L responsibility of +$100m in revenue. Experience from apparel brands, selling to National Accounts channel highly preferred.

Educational Position Requirements : A formal education and subsequent undergraduate / graduate in business is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • Ability to develop collaborative and diverse relationships.
  • Very strong business acumen.
  • Existing relationships with top U.S. Mass Retailers
  • Strong familiarity with retail POS
  • Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multitask several priorities simultaneously
  • Preferred systems experience include : SAP, Power BI
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Experience and ability to leverage consumer insights to increase sales
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present in front of large groups
  • Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting)
