Description
The Financial Analyst, based in our Houston, TX location, will be a key part of operations, driving efficiency by handling core accounting and financial analysis. We are looking for a tech-savvy and curious individual who is eager to learn, grow, and apply modern tools (including AI) to help us build a scalable and automated finance function.

Responsibilities
Assist with financial modeling and planning, helping support Orbee's growth and profitability.Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable reporting, revenue and expense analysis.Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and report findings to management.Track cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability.Support department heads during the budgeting process by providing data and analysis.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policiesPrepare documents for external auditors and tax advisors and support the audit process.Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in a financial analyst role.Proficient in Quickbooks and financial modeling in Excel and Google Sheets is a MUST including Quickbooks Spreadsheet Sync.Demonstrates interest in and a high aptitude for learning new technologies, including AI-driven financial tools.Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsCPA certification (or in active pursuit) is a strong plus.Has worked in the automotive industry (preferred).The pay range for this role is :
70,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Houston, TX)
