Shift Information :

This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

This position is located in our Peterson Health Medical Plaza location

What you will do :

The Medical Assistant, under supervision of nursing leadership, supports provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties.  Performs diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean and maintain medical equipment.  Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education :

Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program.

Required Skills :

Customer service skills, ability to use telephone and computer.

Preferred Skills :

EMR (electronic medical record) experience. Basic ECG rhythm recognition or willingness to learn within 30 days of starting.

Required Licensure / Registration / Certification :

Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS ) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary
