Andgar Mechanical, LLC has a full-time opening for a Commercial Service Technician Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will furnish tools, materials and supplies to HVAC Technicians; clean work areas, machines and tools and hold materials or tools as well as other duties under the supervision of HVAC Technicians to Andgar company policies and standards. Actual duties may include some or all duties listed below.

Education & Experience :
High School Diploma or GED, or formal technical school training in HAVCFall Protection CompetentAnalytical, focused on quality, and results drivenStrong communication and customer service skillsBasic understanding of construction mathAble to earn EPA and NATE certificationsPossess current Driver’s License and acceptable driving recordEssential Job Functions :
Maintain Equipment – plan and perform the basic maintenance on equipmentOperate Equipment – Use equipment or systemsThink Critically – Think about the pros and cons of different ways to solve a problemQuality Control – Test how well a product or service worksConduct face-to-face conversation and positive interaction with coworkers and customersSome experience with HVAC wiring diagrams and sheet metal design and fabricationHelp with the installation and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems as directedMaintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles in clean and good working conditionPrepare work sites as directedPerform general labor tasks such as sweep, clean, delivery, load, and unload, etc.Follow instructions from supervisor in timely mannerReport problems with company tools or vehicle promptlyMaintain professional appearance and attitudeComplete all service-related forms properly; use service invoicing system effectivelyComply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety proceduresSeeks assistance as needed and asks questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staffAdheres to assigned work schedule (attendance and punctuality)Responds to phone messages, emails, and service calls in a timely mannerAdditional duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Able to learn how each component within the HVAC system operatesCommitted to development of customer service skillsMotivated, positive attitude towards workWillingness to invest time in training seminars and classesExcellent communication skillsAble to complete work from 28’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladderStrong team player : ability to follow instructions as givenConsistently meets the overall goals of Service DepartmentCPR and First Aid training completion within 6 months of positionAerial Work Platform and Forklift Training within 6 months of positionDrug Free Workplace & Random Drug Testing Requirements :
