We are seeking a per diem Medical Assistant to work 5-10 hours a month at our community health events!
This Medical Assistant will provide support for the Heart Health and Wellness Council programs in all of Newton Wellesley's service communities. Assisting with health screenings that include blood pressure, blood glucose, A1C, cholesterol, and body composition as well as being responsible for calibrating A1C and Cholestech machines, Track machine cartridge expiration dates and screening supplies.
Join our dynamic team working with the Heart Health and Wellness Council to drive engaging prevention programs in our communities. In this impactful role, you'll work with a passionate team to deliver innovative heart health and wellness programming to diverse audiences including firefighters, seniors, and community members. You'll help promote heart-healthy nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction through evidence-based approaches.
