Windows Engineer

Marathon TS is currently hiring for a Windows Engineer to join our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis. MO.

HOW A WINDOWS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Description : Responsibilities :

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex Server OS related issues to ensure optimal performance and availability of Windows Servers.
• Upgrade outdated servers to 2016, 2019, and 2022 versions to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize extensive vSphere Operations experience to effectively manage and maintain our virtualization environment. Familiarity and experience with OVF Templates for efficient deployment is required.
• Utilize GitLab and Operating System pipelines for template creation, ensuring streamlined and efficient deployment processes.
• Moderate background in SCCM / ConfigMgr with experience in application / package creation and deployment. Experience in Software Update Group (SUG) creation and deployment is necessary.
• Setup, manage, and deploy monthly patching for Windows Server 2012-2022, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
