Commercial Superintendent : (Must have 5 years construction superintendent experience)

NEW CONSTRUCTION and REMODELING

Commercial Construction Onsite Management experience with projects ranging from $1-50 Million. Schools, Churches, Detention Facilities, Manufacturing, Office, etc.

Main Job Task and Responsibilities :

Coordinates and supervises all onsite construction project activities.
Directs all field personnel, subcontractors, an material suppliers to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
Understands the project plans and specifications, project layout.
Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
Maintains an organized and clean job site.

May

wear tool belt and perform misc carpentry work, steel erection, welding, and misc work

5+ years hands on knowledge in building and construction projects >

$1M.

Ability to schedule and multitask.

Tactful and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with, train, manage and supervise diverse personalities.

Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction.

Experienced in managing multiple projects

Projects may require travel
