Job Description Summary
The individual in this senior developer role will enable the AMS technology team to develop the database-centric solutions that are required to support the improvements to the AMS systems and business processes that have been included in the AMS Modernization roadmap.

Responsibilities :
- Oracle Database Development : Create and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
- Low-Code Application Development : Design and develop low-code applications using Oracle APEX to support business users
- Database Optimization : Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage
- CI / CD Implementation : Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all projects
- Plan and Execute Development Projects : Collaborate with both the technology team and our Business Partners throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and level 2 support, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Technical Skills / Experience :
Experience with Oracle SQL including analytics and windowing functions, dynamic SQL and set operationsExperience with PL / SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, pipelined table functions and other database objectsOracle SQL performance tuning using profiling tools, optimizer hints, query refactoring, table partitioning, and index design (including index-organized tables)Understanding of Oracle's automatic and manual locking mechanismsExperience with developing custom exception handling in PL / SQLExperience with Oracle APEX for low-code developmentExperience with Unix and Shell scriptingExperience with job scheduler tools such as BMC Control-M or AutosysProven track record working in both waterfall and agile SDLC frameworksKnowledge of the Financial Services industry including middle and back-office functionsExperience in collaborating with business counterparts to understand detailed requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Skills :
Experience with SQL Server and MS AccessExperience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETLExperience with web application development using java and AngularExperience with cloud technologies like AWSUnderstanding of data governance frameworksEducation
