They have enjoyed incredible growth in the last few years' and are seeking a candidate with a strong Accounting background, ideally with cost and manufacturing experience, to join their team as they continue their expansion.

Responsibilities :

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries and month-end close adjustments.

Support job cost accounting for manufacturing projects within the Epicor ERP

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and reconciliations.

Prepare, process, and review biweekly payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Process and reconcile employee expense reports and credit card statements.

Assist the Controller with preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

Coordinate and reconcile accounting for employee benefits (401k, health, and business insurance).

Help maintain and document internal accounting controls and procedural updates.

Support the Controller in preparation of year-end accounting, tax packages, and external audits.

Provide accurate, organized, and timely data entry and report generation.

Collaborate with HR and Administration on accounting-related functions.

Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding payroll and financial information.

Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

Experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment strongly preferred. Exposure to POC accounting not required but would also be beneficial.

Proficiency in Epicor ERP or similar accounting systems preferred.

Experience processing payroll with Paylocity or similar software.

Strong understanding of job cost accounting and general ledger functions.

Skills & Competencies :

Technical Skills :

Proficient in GAAP and job cost accounting principles.

Strong computer and data management skills (MS Office, ERP, Paylocity).

Proficient with Microsoft applications and understands the use of ERP systems for manufacturing and accounting administration.

Familiarity with benefit-related accounting and payroll reporting.

Experience with sales tax administration and sales tax filings.

Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial data.
