Director of Finance And Accounting - Real Estate

    • Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations across corporate and project accounting.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Property Accounting on accounting activity, cash and intercompany transactions.
  • Develop and maintain corporate projection models for Development, Asset Management, Construction Management, and Property Management departments.
  • Track pre-development funding sources and manage funding requests from predevelopment lenders or equity investors.
  • Maintain guarantor reporting, including control lists and schedules.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and multi-year financial projections expected project capital needs.
  • Provide analytics for major corporate transactions.
  • Support SVP of Finance with audits, tax returns, e-file forms, and investor submissions.
  • Coordinate intercompany billing, reconciliation, and tracking.

    • Qualifications

  • CPA or master's degree in accounting or finance related, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
  • Accounting experience in Real Estate / Development field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and system skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with forecasting, financial planning and analysis is preferred.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
