We have Summer 2026 Tax Transformation Analyst Internship opportunities available in one of our three locations - Atlanta, GA, Plano, TX, OR Wichita, KS.

As a member of the Tax Transformation team, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and leverage your tax knowledge in an exciting data driven environment. This key role will create value by partnering across capabilities to drive sustainable transformation. The successful candidate must be self-directed, able to collaborate on multiple projects, seek out opportunities to modernize processes, understand priorities, and meet deadlines.

As a Tax Transformation Analyst Intern on our team, you may have the opportunity to :

  • Build relationships and understand our data platform strategy
  • Attend trainings to gain ETL and Visualization software skills
  • Work side-by-side with Data Product Owners on the strategic planning and use cases of their data products
  • Work with developers to better understand our data infrastructure and develop product enhancements
  • Partner with finance capabilities, understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Apply concepts learned in the classroom
  • Enhance communication, time management and analytical skills

Requirements :

  • An interest in data, business processes and transformation
  • Enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to Information Technology, Data Science / Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or Related Field
  • Available to work a 40-hour week in-person Monday-Friday during core business hours in Summer 2026
  • Available to work onsite in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA, Plano, TX, or Wichita, KS
  • Eligible for full-time employment no later than Fall 2027
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Travel to the different KCC Tax offices for intern kickoff, team meetings, etc.
  • Completion of 2+ Data Science / Analytics related courses and a basic understanding of ETL processes and data languages (SQL / Python)

    Completion of 2+ core accounting courses and a basic understanding of fundamental financial accounting principles

    Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and robotic process automation
