Optometry office in Boardman Ohio looking to add an Optometric Technician to our office. Position is Monday through Thursday (Monday 10-6 : 30, Tuesday and Wednesday 9-5 and Thursday 9-6) for a total of 31 hours after lunch breaks. Experience preferred by not required, will train the right candidate. Job responsibilities will be primarily pretesting patients including patient history review, visual acuities, autorefractor, pressure testing etc. Special testing such as OCT, visual field perimetry, etc will be required as well. Some answering of the phones and basic scheduling will be required at times. Pay rate is $14-$16 / hour depending on experience. Potential for increased income with cross training and learning to the Optical end of the office (glasses fitting and measurements, dispensing, adjustments and repairs etc.).
