Job Summary (RPG Developer – Honda Logistics, East Liberty, OH)

Maintain and support existing iSeries (AS400) applications using RPG (RPG, RPG ILE, RPG-FREE) languages.

Design, develop, and implement program enhancements and solutions based on business / user requirements.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries; integrate SQL within RPG environments.

Utilize JSON for data interchange and integration within RPG applications.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing code and systems independently.

Test code modifications and enhancements to ensure quality and system reliability.

Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for system improvement.

Integrate new code, enhancements, and bug fixes into current software systems.

Perform ongoing application maintenance and updates as needed.

Leverage experience with IBM iSeries AS400, RPG IV, RPG Free, ILE, CL, CLLE.

Experience in logistics, Angular, or Python is a plus, but not required.

Exhibit proactive problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

Contract role; on-site in East Liberty, OH; local candidates only.
