Spire is seeking an enthusiastic, career minded student or recent graduate to join our operation in St. Louis, MO. Our paid internship position affords students the opportunity to learn and be mentored. As an Intern, you may complete various projects and perform administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned department and natural gas industry. To be considered, you must :

• Be a currently enrolled college student or graduate student with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Have availability to work up to 40 hours per week starting in May through the August timeframe
• Have advanced skills using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Satisfactory completion of introductory and intermediate accounting courses
• Possess a basic understanding of US GAAP and financial principles
• Maintain a high level of motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges

Supervisory Responsibilities

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in accounting or finance.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

Must be able to work 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Be a junior, senior, or graduate level student in Fall 2026.

1 year of general work experience preferred.

Microsoft Office proficiency required with most positions.
