Essential Functions :

  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and billing transactions according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner when additional information is needed ensuring timely processing.
  • Maintain detailed policy documentation and update customer information as necessary.
  • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Rate endorsements / transactions for multiple lines of business.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company.
  • Perform pre-underwriting tasks for policy transactions based on Company processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
  • Order reports for new business, renewal, and endorsements as required.
  • Maintain acceptable productivity and quality levels established by management.
  • Perform all tasks under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Conform with all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Education :

    Associate's Degree or Other Insurance Training; basic insurance courses (IIA, AU, etc.) desirable; demonstrate proficiency in various computer applications; good math background.

    Experience :

    Less than 2 years of agency or insurance company experience.

    Salary Range :

    $34,300 - $51,400. The final salary will take into consideration the individual's work experience, geographic location, education, certification(s), and responsibilities within the role.

    This position is a full-time hourly, nonexempt (overtime eligible) position. Candidates who have accepted a formal offer will be required to submit to a comprehensive background check and drug screen; additional screening for credit or MVR may be required for some positions.
