Job descriptionConduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and / or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain security-related protocols. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and directions. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary. Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols. Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and orderly environment. Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a Security Professional - Flex - Distribution Center in Blauvelt, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine checks, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
