Shipping & Receiving Specialist

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will utilize an electric pallet jack to unload trucks, receive incoming products according to warehouse management system processes, accurately identify and break down materials, note discrepancies, and prepare products for storage. The role includes conducting cycle counts, verifying bin locations, consolidating inventory as needed, and picking orders.

Responsibilities :

• Use an electric pallet jack to unload trucks.
• Receive and process incoming products in accordance with warehouse management system procedures.
• Accurately identify and break down materials, noting any discrepancies.
• Prepare products for storage.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations.
• Consolidate inventory as needed.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment.

Work Environment :

The position involves working in a large distribution / warehouse environment on a team of about 10 people. The work hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM with an unpaid one-hour lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks. Steel-toed boots that go above the ankle, pants without holes or frays, and shirts with sleeves (t-shirt, long sleeve, or sweatshirt) are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
