Project Summary
The Animal Law Program (Program) at the Sturm College of Law seeks to advance research and understanding in the field of animal law and to educate the next generation of advocates to protect the well-being of nonhuman animals in the United States and around the world. Through courses externship opportunities events and cutting-edge research the Program engages with a variety of topic and perspectives in the field of animal law designed to advance the well-being of nonhuman animals.
Position Summary
Working under the supervision of the Faculty Director the Visiting Fellow (Fellow) will undertake research in the field of animal studies and contribute to the intellectual life of the Program the Sturm College of Law and the University of Denver.
This is an eight-month contract scheduled to commence in January 2026.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1000 hours in a calendar year.

Salary Rate
This position pays a monthly stipend of $6500 from January-August 2026.
