Channel Account Manager

First Due, a quickly growing SaaS technology company providing an end-to-end software platform for Fire and EMS agencies, is searching for a Channel Account Manager to generate new revenue and developing new sales pipelines.

As a Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding relationships with our strategic partners, resellers, and system integrators. You'll play a critical role in driving revenue through channel sales, onboarding new partners, enabling their success, and ensuring alignment with our go-to-market strategy. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Own day-to-day relationships with channel partners, including resellers, VARs, OEM, and System Integrators
  • Train and enable partners on our platform, value proposition, sales process, and competitive differentiators.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and close deals.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new partners and ensure they ramp quickly and effectively.
  • Track partner performance, maintain accurate pipeline data, and report on KPIs and revenue contribution.
  • Work with marketing, sales, product, and customer success to support partner initiatives and resolve issues.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on partner needs, competitive trends, and market dynamics within the public sector space.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 37+ years of experience in SaaS and / or tech channel sales, partnerships, or account management.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing channel partner relationships.
  • Experience with government procurement processes and public safety sales cycles is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative team.
  • Existing network of public sector resellers or government IT consultants.
  • Familiarity with cooperative purchasing agreements and contracts (e.g., NASPO, GSA).
  • Experience supporting or building a channel program from the ground up.
