Billing and Invoicing Clerk

Description :

The Shipping and Warehouse Clerk will perform duties related to receiving and shipping product. This position will be responsible for verifying merchandise and organizes its distribution. The Shipping and Warehouse Clerk will also prepare related documents and maintain storage and stocking areas. This position currently reports to the Production Manager. TopFlite Components is located in Homestead, Florida and is a division of kSARIA which is headquartered in Hudson, NH.

• Receive merchandise. Checks and signs delivery slips. Assist with unloading as necessary.
• Safely unpacks merchandise and verifies the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents. Accepts or returns products according to established procedures.
• Completes forms and prepares required documents. Maintains files.
• Organizes the distributes the shipping of products. Makes necessary verifications against documents, pre-pares the product and moves to the appropriate area.
• Contacts resource people for various information needed. Contacts transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.
• Participate in taking inventory. Maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves. Ensures area is secure at all times.
• Communicates receiving and or shipping issues to the manager
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

This position is full time - Monday through Friday with the need to occasionally work overtime.
