The Revenue Analyst plays a key role in overseeing the complete revenue accounting process, including revenue recognition and analysis. We are looking for a motivated professional with a detail-oriented approach who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys tackling complex challenges. Responsibilities :
- Lead the monthly revenue closure cycle and control processes for recurring revenue streams (SaaS, Maintenance and Support).
- Review contracts and bookings to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide clear and practical advice on revenue accounting for contracts in progress.
- Apply knowledge of IFRS 15 to account for customer contracts with multiple performance obligations.
- Perform variance analysis on SaaS and recurring revenues to identify trends and relevant information.
- Partner with the SaaS Delivery team to track, record, analyze, and forecast monthly and quarterly revenue.
- Review account reconciliations, analyze results, and prepare detailed management reports each month and each quarter.
- Play a key role in coordinating deliverables related to year-end audit and ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare ARR and RPO reports on a quarterly basis.
- Contribute to various ad hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements :
Experience with accounting processes and order management.Strong understanding of reservations, orders, revenue recognition, and forecasting.CPA designation (completed or in progress).Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS environment or in the technology sector.Excellent knowledge of IFRS 15 and multiple element revenue recognition principles.Previous audit experience in an accounting firm.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).Comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and good judgment.True team player, comfortable in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.Experience with ERP systems; participation in a system implementation is a plus.Excellent written and spoken English, essential for effective communication with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues located outside Quebec.We understand that experience comes in many forms and careers are not always linear.
