Production Operator (Thermal Technician) NIGHT SHIFT

Thermal Technician performs manufacturing duties for new or existing products according to standardized procedures and / or established work instructions. This includes equipment setup and operation, execution of the daily production plan, minor maintenance functions, quality inspections, execution of EHS checks and reporting, and WCM / continuous improvement project execution. Reports to Production Supervisor, dotted line to Shift Lead.

• Basic and routine aspects of operating thermal equipment (i.e. kiln) at the plant level scale.
• Required to maintain a clean work area and be knowledgeable of and adheres to all established environmental, health and safety procedures and policies.
• Night shift : Required to work a 12hr shift on a split week schedule.
• Perform and Document routine process checks to ensure OEE, maintain autonomous maintenance responsibilities, ensuring systems are operating within parameter for the purpose of identifying early indications of trouble or failure.
• Perform routine Raw Material / Finished Goods Quality and Environmental Checks. Maintain electronic database of results.
• Load Raw Materials, Package Finished Goods according to Product Setup
• Backfill operator positions during employee absences, vacations etc.
