Temple Court in the Beekman Hotel is looking for its next AM Server to join their growing team! Please note this is as early as a 6 : 30am start, which includes weekends .
Responsibilities :
- Graciously greeting and guiding guests as the main contact through their experience
- Communicating with kitchen, managers, and sommeliers to ensure guest satisfaction
- Properly managing time and resources to balance the guest experience and the needs of the restaurant
- Accurately preparing checks and accepting payment
- Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
- Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn
- Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
- Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus
- Participating in service / culinary education sessions
- Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
Qualifications :
At least 2 years of serving experience in a fine dining restaurantStrong knowledge and interest in food and beverageEarly morning availability; ability to work breakfast and lunch shiftsKnowledge of POS systemsHas a sincere interest in the hospitality industryDemonstrate clear written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and directionCapability to stand for prolonged periods of timeLift up to 50 pounds of weightAbility to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objectsPerks :
