Join our team and help us make “A Better Pop, for a Better World!” Job Summary The Key Account Manager Southeast & Mid-Atlantic is responsible for delivering the revenue, trade funding and distribution objectives for JonnyPops in accordance with company sales plans and budgets.
This individual must be a doer, motivated, inspired, organized, creative, willing to roll up his / her sleeves with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit in chasing growth. This position is 100% remote with travel to corporate and client sites expected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Total sales and P+L responsibility for key retailers.
Drive new product / category distribution initiatives.
Implement retailer promotional plans to maximize incremental sales through effective trade investments.
Direct distributors, brokers, field sales and internal resources to accomplish sales and distribution objectives.
Manage budgets + be a tight manager of trade spending.
Owns and manages accurate customer forecasts and plans in coordination with Trade and Planning Team.
Delivers distribution, shelf management, pricing and promotional objectives for key strategic accounts.
Manage headquarter responsibility for key national accounts such as (combination of accounts below) :
Will be required to travel 50% or more to customers / clients within assigned regions Minimum Qualifications 5+ years in Sales for a CPG company, with familiarity working with East Coast customers. Will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree Has experience working for both a large and smaller scale profitable brands Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred Experience working with multiple retail environments preferred Excel and PowerPoint Skills; must be competent in managing large data sets Experience in sales planning, trade management and forecasting Creative thinker with the ability to tell a story with data Develop and manage scope, timeline, work plan and deliverables for projects; manage incoming project requests and maintain project queue Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment Self-sufficient and highly detailed oriented Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface at all levels Strong presentation skills Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback Food Safety Requirements Follow hygienic practices when handling samples for potential customers Clearly reflect food safety and quality as part of the JP brand, when planning and executing projects, and while interacting with relevant external stakeholders Adhere to GMPs when on the production floor, as required of all JP personnel Expected Pay Range :
