How You'll Contribute

A Staff Accountant II, Balance Sheet Management who excels in this role :

• Manages the monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process for multiple entities across the organization.
• Reviews account activity, identifies reconciliation variances, and ensures timely resolution.
• Investigates and explains variances to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Supports quarterly reviews and annual audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborates closely with Site Liaisons, site CFOs, and the LBS Technical Accounting team to ensure account balances are supported and properly documented.
• Assists in researching and applying new accounting standards and evaluating their potential impact.
• Performs balance sheet account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Observes internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned to support the HSC Accounting department.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare or hospital industry. Additional qualifications include :
