Finance Analyst
The Iowa Judicial Branch, Children's Justice in State Court Administration, is seeking applicants for a Finance Analyst to administer, process, analyze, and report on finance, grant activities, and budgets supporting the state-wide treatment courts, the Court Improvement Program, and other supporting programs.
This position will ensure expenditures align with approved budgets, funding requirements, and accurate financial records. This position will reconcile and analyze funding and prepare financial forecasts to anticipate program budgets. This position will communicate current funding status and develop forecasts based on financial data. This position will work closely with the Iowa Judicial Branch finance team for processing expenditures and invoice payments. This position will prepare and provide accurate financial reports.
The successful candidate will understand organizational accounting and finance standards. This position will apply Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), compliance, and control procedures. This person will have sharp attention to detail and analytical skills.
What's in it for you :
The pay range for this position is $58,219.20 - $92,040.00 annually. This is an FLSA-non-exempt position. The starting wage for new state employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range. Adjustments may be made if the successful candidate has relevant experience.

This is a non-merit position with the Iowa Judicial Branch. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.
Minimum Qualification Requirements :
The incumbent must meet the minimum requirements to qualify for the position.
Experience may be substituted with related education on the basis that successful completion of thirty (30) semester hours or academic equivalent equals one year of experience.
Additional Information :
This is a full-time, grant-funded position, and employment is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funds.
