Staff Backend Engineer OR Staff Fullstack Engineer – AI assisted Healthtech Product

Location : New York City Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Salary : $180,000 – $245,000 + stock options

This fast growing Series B start-up is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those in senior living facilities. Falls are a leading cause of injury for older adults, yet most prevention and response systems are outdated. The client is building a modern solution that helps residents request help quickly and empowers caregivers to respond effectively.

They are looking to add 1 x Staff Backend and 1 x Staff Fullstack Engineer to this Product team.

You will bring AI-powered insights to life for caregivers and staff. You will design and build intuitive, high-impact workflows in the Care App, creating dashboards, alerts, and tools that turn data into real-time action.

Responsibilities (depending on FS or BE)

• Build intuitive dashboards and workflows for safety and response
• Develop configurable alerting and notification systems
• Enhance secure video review and annotation tools
• Deliver performant full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Java / Kotlin
• Collaborate with design and product teams to make AI insights usable for non-technical users
