Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and active ARDMS and BLS certification for a day shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting on the general ultrasound unit
  • Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required
  • CERNER charting experience is required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must be willing to float within hospital and to nearby affiliate locations as needed
  • Must work two out of three major holidays as scheduled
  • Local candidates are accepted for allied and surgical services positions
  • Returning employees must have a 12-month separation from previous perm or PRN employment with the facility
  • Free parking available on-site

  • Minimum of 18 months experience as a General Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
  • Must hold a valid Indiana or Compact state license prior to start—license required if applicable
  • Associate degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Must be able to provide two supervisor references
