Overview
Optometric Technician - Training Provided. Clarkson Eyecare is hiring for an Optometric Technician to assist in providing a world-class Total Patient Experience. Location : 3308 Jefferson Ave, Cincinnati, OH.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
- Practice urgency at all times, valuing the patient\'s time as well as the doctor\'s time and schedule
- Operate manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor / keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT
- Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos, visual fields, visual activity, etc.)
- Clean all examination equipment including tonometer tip
- Interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- General office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused work environment
- Commit to work hours that meet business needs, which may include weekends, schedule changes or extended schedules
Qualifications
Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferredMinimum of 1 year in a customer / patient-facing role or equivalent combination of education and experienceFavorable result on background check as required by stateMust be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United StatesEducation and / or Experience
High school diploma or GED requiredLicenses and Credentials
