GA Business Line Quality Leader

The GA Business Line Quality Leader is responsible for driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of the value stream of Grid Automation aligned to the strategic initiatives and objectives of the business. The GA Business Line Quality Leader must partner effectively with other GA leaders on creating and implementing data-driven solutions for mitigating risk and prioritizing initiatives to drive focused QMS adoption and execution.
Major Responsibilities :
- Define, lead, and implement quality strategy for Grid Automation (GA) across all regions for all Product Lines (PL) and R&D, Global Supply Chain (GSC)
- Manage quality for global supply chain (GSC) including factories, for projects and services delivery, and for R&D (New Solutions, HW and SW development)
- Ensure the deployment of Quality policies, processes, standards, and tools, through proper action plan and measurement.
- Lead and drive Quality Management Systems, Customer Satisfaction, Product, Project and Services Quality, Supplier Quality and Continuous Improvement to meet GA objectives.
- Identify, analyze and lead resolutions for all Quality issues globally, for Grid Automation portfolio, and manage all associated interfaces with PLs, regions, GSC and other functions to ensure issues are assessed for risk, actions plans to address the risk are produced and followed through and long term preventive actions are identified and implemented.
- Initiate and lead any initiative contributing to quality improvement as a competitive edge, and for Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction, at any stage of the value chain, from R&D to end of product life cycle, including Supplier Quality.
- Ensure product and project initial quality and reliability metrics are monitored, trended and actions assigned where needed for driving improvements.
- Drive a problem-solving culture using relevant root cause analysis tools and methods such as 8D problem-solving methodology.
- Ensure compliance to ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards across Grid Automation as well as Business Continuity Plans.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or software engineering or another relevant technical / business field required.Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management Systems and quality management (and associated tools and methodology) within an industrial and / or Hi-Tech industry, and 5 years of operational experience.Desired Characteristics :
Experience working on complex technical issues with cross-functional teams, and in large matrixial organization.Ability to clearly articulate and prioritize quality related issues and required solutions.Passionate and strong change agent, with developed communication and presentation skills (Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization).Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity.Previous experience in a people management role
