About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - CT

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience :

Minimum of two years of clinical CT imaging experience.

License :

State Licensed Radiographer required.

Certifications :

Certification by appropriate body : ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) and (CT) required.

BLS (issued by the American Heart Association) required.

Must-Have :

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Description :

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing an assortment of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors.

Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when needed.

Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.

May be required to float to different areas based on current staffing needs.

Travelers may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the organization’s needs.
