Medical Bill Reviewer

A company is looking for a Medical Bill Reviewer-100% remote (EST or CST time zone).

Key Responsibilities

Identify provider participation status when automated processes fail

Apply PPO guidelines to medical bills accurately when automated re-pricing is not applicable

Communicate with clients and internal staff to request necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma required

Experience with medical bill processes, including familiarity with CPT Codes, ICD-9 and / or ICD-10 Codes, and PPO

Experience working with Windows-based software / applications

Ability to type accurately and review documentation for decision-making

Motivation to work well with others and be a self-starter
