Job description

Our rapidly growing law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their case, manage new client onboarding and data entry, and help our lawyers book and manage their appointments. We’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role on a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate legal team. Compensation : 18 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Screen incoming potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of our firm while helping the caller feel heard and understood
  • Compile all relevant case details from leads and other sources, such as online court dockets, to serve as foundational notes for consultations
  • Book consultations for prospective clients with our lawyers to expand our caseload and ensure meeting schedules are accurate
  • Initiate and follow up on sending contracts, invoices, and communications to the lead throughout the onboarding process to provide a seamless and efficient transition from new lead to the official client
  • Organize paperwork and perform data entry in our case management system to streamline new client onboarding and current client files
  • Conduct various tasks around the office such as managing spreadsheets, writing emails, faxing and copying, and transcribing notes to make sure all processes run smoothly

Qualifications :

  • Strong ability to communicate eloquently and empathetically
  • Exceptional organizational skills are necessary for success in this role
  • Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent is needed, while a Bachelor’s degree is desired
  • Sales or customer service experience is highly valued
  • Background in the legal industry preferred
