UniFirst is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician Level II to become an essential part of our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of our industrial equipment, systems, and components. Your Responsibilities Will Include :
Troubleshooting equipment issues using observation and precision measuring tools.Assisting coworkers with both emergency and routine repairs.Repairing and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and associated control systems.Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment work.Conducting chemical tests for boilers and wastewater systems while keeping accurate logs and making adjustments as needed.Performing safety checks and necessary repairs on boilers.Inspecting and maintaining motors, filters, and fluid levels in accordance with established maintenance procedures.Executing basic welding tasks for repairs.Cleaning and lubricating equipment parts per technical specifications.Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System for tracking and documenting work.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications We Seek :
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Preferred : Two-year technical degree in a relevant field.Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or related field; military experience is a plus.Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.Strong comprehension of maintenance literature in English.Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required.Lockout / Tagout experience essential.Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.About UniFirst :
