Forklift Operators Wanted

Looking for a new opportunity? SIMOS Solutions is hiring Forklift Operators for our client's warehouse team in Avon, IN! Applicants must have at least 1 year of sit-down forklift operator experience. Associates will receive $19.50 / hour and are eligible for Medical and Dental benefits. This is a Full-Time opportunity available for the following shifts :

  • Two schedules available!
  • 2nd Shift C Crew : Sunday to Wednesday, 7 : 00 PM - 5 : 30 AM, with every 2nd Wednesday off
  • 2nd Shift D Crew : Wednesday to Saturday, 7 : 00 PM - 5 : 30 AM, with every 2nd Wednesday off
  • Average 70 hours every two weeks, with an opportunity to pick up one additional shift for 80 hours total!
  • Overtime needed as required

Job Responsibilities

  • 1 YEAR OF FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. On-site driving skills will be tested during the onboarding process. If this test is failed, applicants will not be eligible for this position. Knowledge of reach trucks, pallet jacks and related equipment and safety standards
  • Assists in loading and unloading trucks and inspects product for loading
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Performs and all other general labor duties assigned
  • Stack and palletize non-perishable bulk products
  • Picks and stores orders
  • Reach overhead, twist, turn and squat
  • The warehouse is a high-traffic area and employees must be able to work independently while remaining focused
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs solo and up to 150 as a team
  • Abides by company safety rules
  • Follows safety rules for Forklift operation
  • Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions.
  • Ability to see / hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular / pedestrian traffic
  • Zero tolerance for cell phones on the floor
  • Non-climate control building

  • Must be at least 18 years old

    • The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.50 - $19.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer medical, dental, vision, life, and more.
