Position : Associate Attorney

Location : Orlando, FL (Hybrid)

Position Overview

Lydecker LLP is seeking an associate attorney with 3+ years of experience for our Orlando office. The applicant should be admitted to practice in Florida. The partner-supervised associate will handle a variety of cases, primarily labor and employment defense and general liability.

Job Requirements

• Florida bar license in good standing.
• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
• Minimum 3 years of civil defense litigation experience, preferably in Labor & Employment or General Liability.
• Experience managing up to 30 concurrent cases, taking depositions, appearing in court, drafting motions and discovery, and mediating or trialing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to mentor junior associates.
• Self-motivated, work independently, and excel in client communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer operation.
• Ethical conduct and client confidentiality at all times.
