We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Manager that oversees the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk and System Administration functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and efficient resolution of issues across the organization. This role is hands-on in system administration, integrations, and infrastructure support. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE :
- Ownership of the service desk operations and system administration.
- Oversee ticket management, ensuring timely resolution and consistent communication with internal users.
- Develop and maintain IT service management (ITSM) processes and documentation.
- Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations across company applications and infrastructure.
- Support system integrations and automations between business tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, claims systems, HRIS, and communication tools).
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement process improvements.
- Monitor and maintain network, server, and endpoint performance; troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and backup processes align with healthcare industry and company standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
- Track and analyze help desk metrics to identify trends, training needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with IT onboarding / offboarding, device procurement, and software deployment.
- Partner with vendors and service providers to manage contracts, licenses, and support agreements.
HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of progressive IT support or systems administration experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration (Windows, Active Directory, M365, etc.).Experience with service desk software / ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, or Freshservice).Familiarity with healthcare data compliance requirements (HIPAA) preferred.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.BONUS POINTS IF YOUR HAVE :
