Position : Patient Care Tech

Location : Temple, TX - Baylor Scott and White Health

Schedule : Full-time Nights

Opportunities available in : Med / Surg, Ortho, Neuro, Telemetry, Progressive Care, Observation, Emergency and Oncology.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician handles various duties under a licensed nurse's supervision. Helps deliver patient care and meet family needs. Follows the care plan, considering the patient's age and development stage.

What can you expect to do as a Patient Care Tech?

• Collects and records patient data, including vital signs.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
• Responds to call lights and conducts regular patient rounds.
• Provides personal hygiene care and assists with patient clean-up.
• Adheres to Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures.
• Performs glucose monitoring and collects specimens as requested.
• Will be required to directly support multiple patients during each shift.
