This role involves pre-anesthetic evaluation, administering anesthetic agents, and overseeing patient safety throughout the peri-operative process. As a CRNA, you will play a crucial role in managing patient responses and participating in emergency situations when necessary.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, collecting relevant health history and confirming patient identities.\n
- Document evaluation results, obtain informed consent, and administer pre-anesthetic medications.\n
- Select and administer appropriate anesthetic agents while monitoring changes in patients' conditions.\n
- Manage anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence while providing post-anesthesia care and monitoring patient recovery.\n
- Perform essential procedures such as tracheal intubation, IV insertions, and invasive monitoring.\n
- Recognize and respond to abnormal findings, ensuring timely corrections of any issues during anesthesia.\n
- Document all anesthesia-related care accurately and promptly.\n
- Identify and manage emergency situations, participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.\n
- Conduct equipment safety checks and manage supply needs to ensure a safe working environment.\n
- Maintain clinical expertise and provide direct patient care as necessary, in compliance with regulatory requirements.\n

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and nurse anesthesia program.\n
- Active Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire; Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License to be obtained within 6 months of hire.\n
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist National Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications required.\n
- Strong patient assessment skills with demonstrated communication and interpersonal abilities.\n
- Proficient in relevant computer applications and documentation systems.\n\nPreferred Experience : \n
