About the Role

We’re hiring a Tax Manager on behalf of our client, a respected public accounting firm in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for a licensed CPA with at least five years of public accounting experience who excels in tax planning, compliance, and building strong client relationships. You’ll lead complex tax engagements and mentor junior professionals while working closely with firm leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, and trusts
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions tailored to client needs
• Manage client relationships and provide business advisory on tax risk and compliance
• Oversee staff assignments, timelines, and engagement deliverables
• Mentor, train, and support tax staff to ensure quality and team development
