Operations Analyst II
The incumbent reports directly to the Senior Human Services Program Manager. The primary function of this position is to serve as the Budget Analyst II for the Hillsborough County Woman, Infant and Children (WIC) Program. This position ensures that all Invoices, Time-Records and Assets are accurate according to the WIC policies and procedures. Travel and current Florida Driver's License is required.
Responsibilities include :
- Complies data for the preparation and completion of the WIC Monthly Report of Program Operations
- Maintains revenue / expense ledger balance for all Nutrition Division Grants
- Manages and updates monthly and quarterly fiscal reports for tracking expenses and salaries for accuracy.
- Monitors, trains and guides staff responsible for Budgetary L4 Fiscal activities.
- Identifies and addresses prior year costs, certified forwards, split-fiscal year cost, and realignment of charges to appropriate programs.
- Develops tools for monitoring purchase requests and monthly expenditures by categories.
- Maintains the Access Management System (AMS) to ensure Operating Capital Outlay (OCO) and IT equipment is received and disposed of properly.
- Maintains and reviews all documents pertaining to the Healthy Start Contract.
- Serves as the Lead for reviewing the Monthly Budget Review. Addresses any concerns by the Program Managers or Fiscal Department concerning budget.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Effective verbal / written communication.Demonstrates the ability to learn and understand local, state, and federal policies and procedures related to the WIC program.Computer skills : thorough knowledge, skills and ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams.Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.Minimum Qualifications :
At least 2 years of experience in customer service.Proficient in Excel.Experience in analyzing data.Preferred Qualifications :
