We believe that exceptional service begins at the front door, and we're looking for a Host who will set the tone for a memorable dining experience.
Job Summary :
We’re seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operation in the dining room. You'll manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and support the front-of-house team to maintain efficient service.
Responsibilities :
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell upon departure
- Efficiently manage the reservation system and walk-in guest flow
- Accurately quote wait times and manage guest expectations
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting area, and restrooms
- Assist in the expediting of table turns as needed
- Communicate effectively and constantly with FOH & BOH management and FOH team members
- Help maintain overall dining room ambiance and guest comfort
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary
- Manage coat check, and secure / manage checked items as needed
Qualifications :
Prior experience as a Host in a restaurant setting is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksA positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for hospitalityProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 poundsA team player with a willingness to assist colleagues as neededPunctual and dependableWhat We Offer :
