Job description

Job Summary

This is a full-time outside sales representative (OSR) position focused on NETA Acceptance and Maintenance of electrical power systems. The opportunity territory encompasses the entire state of TN.

The role involves selling NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, electrical system commissioning, life extension servicing, circuit breaker and relay modernization, and arc flash engineering surveys. The OSR will be responsible for finding opportunities to improve the safety and reliability of electrical power distribution equipment. Travel within TN is required.

CBS Field Services along with Premier Power Maintenance are building one of the largest NETA accredited electrical testing companies in the US. They provide electrical acceptance and maintenance testing services across the US, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, and expertise in utility, industrial, commercial, and data center switchgear and substation services. Responsibilities

  • Selling NETA acceptance and maintenance testing services.
  • Electrical system commissioning and life extension servicing.
  • Circuit breaker and relay modernization.
  • Arc flash engineering surveys.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety and reliability of electrical power distribution equipment.
  • Travel within Tennessee to engage with customers.

Qualifications

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Problem-solving skills for people and electrical challenges.
  • Attention to detail when completing proposals.
  • Competent communication skills and probing questioning techniques.
  • Experience in electrical testing and maintenance is highly valued but not required.
  • Knowledge of NETA standards.
  • Understanding of how to safely work around and test electrical apparatus of all types (transformers, circuit breakers).
  • Ability to work closely with operations leaders and technician crews to deliver on customer service expectations.
  • Current or prior certification as a NETA II or NETA III is ideal.
  • Veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or related programs encouraged to apply.
