Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time and a Part-Time skilled and dedicated State Licensed, MRI Technologists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. The MRI Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluations. $1000.00 sign on bonus.

Lead MRI Technologist Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring the highest quality of images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of MRI equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Lead MRI Technologist Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately perform scans and interpret results.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to imaging procedures and patient care.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques, ensuring effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Previous experience in medical imaging or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients during their imaging experience.
  • New Mexico State license is required (MRT) (RRT)
  • National Certification (ARRT) is required
