Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Redemptions Manager who oversees the comprehensive redemption processes, ensuring the smooth operation from reprints to vendor relations, back-order escalations, and finalizing redemption lists. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Redemptions, this role involves effective communication across cross-functional teams, tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs), handling escalations, and maintaining data integrity. The position also includes supervising training for new associates, developing cost-saving strategies, and providing regular reports to senior leadership. Responsibilities
- Oversee and conduct quality checks on returned cards during the receipt process, guiding junior associates to identify and capture obvious defects such as visible damages, misprints, or missing autographs in a detailed and organized manner
- Ensure the secure storage and organization of high-value cards and materials in the redemption room, implementing best practices and protocols
- Utilize advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions throughout the redemption process, providing guidance to entry-level associates
- Supervise the packaging and preparation of card shipments, ensuring that cards are securely packed to prevent damage during transit, and that all procedures are followed accurately
- Prepare and label packages for shipment using appropriate materials and tools, overseeing junior staff to ensure compliance with standards
- Respond to complex inquiries from internal & external teams regarding redemption card statuses, providing accurate and timely information, and offering solutions based on data analysis
- Collaborate with the product team to gain a deeper understanding of the subject lists being developed for programs and process data to create initial redemption lists that will be finalized by the Senior / Lead
- Accurately and promptly enter and update redemption card statuses, auto statuses, and quantities into AirTable / NCF, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address material needs related to fulfilling redemptions.
