Contract Representative
We are in search of a proficient Contract Representative to join our dedicated team in Cambridge. This hybrid position requires an individual with an active Secret security clearance, who can adeptly manage a broad spectrum of sophisticated contracts. The chosen candidate will be integral in overseeing comprehensive contract management, ensuring adherence to regulations, and nurturing essential partnerships with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire lifecycle of various contractual agreements, such as BOA, IDIQ, OTA, R&D, EMD, and Production contracts.
- Act as the main point of contact for client communications, guiding contracting actions throughout the business acquisition process.
- Work closely with capture and proposal teams to formulate and implement negotiation strategies that meet corporate goals.
- Ensure compliance with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act and supervise cross-functional compliance initiatives.
- Conduct detailed reviews of terms and conditions to establish contract baselines and facilitate contract integration within business systems.
- Promote effective change management practices, including timely notifications and approval workflows.
- Interpret contract requirements, assist in resolving disputes, and perform contract closeout activities.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred and may substitute for two years of experience.5-10 years of experience in the Government Contracting sector, with a preference for experience in national security or aerospace and defense.Strong proficiency in FAR / DFARS and a comprehensive understanding of government contract types and vehicles.Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate within a team environment.Experience in mentoring junior team members and leading training programs.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to different systems.Security Clearance : Candidates must obtain and maintain a government security clearance, preferably a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
