With a growing presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, we are expanding our projects to Fairfax, Virginia and are seeking a passionate and creative Interior Design Intern to support our local design team.
Role Summary
As an Interior Design Intern in our Fairfax location, you’ll assist in various phases of the design process, from concept development to sourcing and project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-end residential design while working under the guidance of seasoned professionals from a nationally recognized firm.
Responsibilities
Assist with creating mood boards, material palettes, and presentation decksSource furniture, fabrics, fixtures, and finishes for luxury residential projectsSupport site visits, take measurements, and document existing conditionsMaintain project documentation and sample libraryCommunicate with vendors, showrooms, and clients when neededAssist with design research, procurement tracking, and installation coordinationCollaborate with remote team members and designers based in MiamiQualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design or related fieldStrong interest in high-end residential designProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking skillsDetail-oriented with a strong design senseReliable transportation for occasional site visits around Fairfax, VAAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyPreferred Skills
Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion)Knowledge of luxury design trends and materials, usa websites and sourcesPrior internship or studio experience is a plusWhat We Offer
