Description of the role:

As an Environmental Science Tutor at Krsnadasa Inc DBA TUTOR DOCTOR, you will be responsible for providing specialized tutoring services to students in the Lexington, MA area. Your expertise in environmental science and experience with ADHD students will play a crucial role in helping students overcome learning challenges and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs
• Provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Help students improve their understanding of environmental science concepts
• Assist students in improving study skills and organization
• Be able to provide a session report for our office and families after each session

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tutoring environmental science
• Experience working with students with ADHD
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences
• Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
• Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
• Be able to create lesson plans
• Having a personality that is suited for different types of students
• Strong administration skills
• Strong typing, PC and recording skills
• Having reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone

COMPENSATION

Compensation: Standard $22 and up
Certified, Specialized & Test Prep: $25 and up
