Full-Time Position : 45 Hours Week

Salary : $70,000 Yearly

FLSA : Exempt

Working Hours :

Monday-Friday 7 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30p.m.

(Hours will vary as needed)

Reports to Vice President

Job Summary : The Human Resources role will support a wide range of responsibilities, including assisting with onboarding, benefits administration, and developing initiatives to enhance HR processes while aligning strategies with company policies. This position will also manage comprehensive administrative duties such as general liability and workers’ compensation reviews, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations. This is a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be designed

Facilitate new hire paperwork and Paychex entries

Completion of I9 verification and E-Verify Process

Recordkeeping -maintaining accurate employee files

Oversee Paychex entries and verify coding of out-of-state employees

Proper set up of state tax registrations through Middesk

Set up employees’ access to Foundations, WorkMax Time, EASE (Benefits) and company email accounts

Manage Unemployment Claims and ensure timely responses

Process status change forms for promotions, pay adjustments, position updates

Collaborate with insurance brokers to review company liability, comprehensive insurance and employee benefit policies

Assist with coordination of Open Enrollment and employee benefit communications

Document employee benefit packages

Review monthly benefit billings to confirm accurate processing of new hires and terminations

Assist with updating and maintaining the Employee Handbook

Maintain and update census report as needed

Assist with Safety Manager to ensure new hires complete assessments, watch safety videos and receive PPE

Ensure that new safety acknowledgements are addressed, including safety videos and updated manuals

Answering employee inquiries in a prompt manner

Aiding retirement planning with representatives

Assist with organizing employee company events and employee engagement initiatives

Gather essential reports to be distributed to Vice President when needed

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a technical school or university

2-4 years of Human Resource Generalist Experience

Ability to learn new programs / systems quickly is essential

Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills in a minimum supervision office environment

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

OneSource Level2+ Certified

Continuous sitting in one setting for up to 8 hours

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point Presentation
